Developed countries

The developed world is made up of the countries which have reached generally elevated economic, social and political levels.

Main Characteristics:

 ECONOMY: developed countries usually have a good economic level. Their per capita incomes is, at least, 12235 dolars. Howerer, there are are several differences between them. For example, in Norway, the per capita incomes is 63000 dolars while in Poland is under 22000. In that countries tertiary sector is the most important. 50 years ago the most important sector used to be primary or secundary. However, the industry is very important although this is only a 15 percent of gross domestic product . More than 85% of goods are made in developed countries.

DEMOGRAPHY: the populations of this countries are characterized by a birth and mortality rate very low ( 0,5-1,2 % ) so, the vegetative rate is very low and even it could be negative when died are higher than births.

WELLBEING SYSTEM(social, political and educational aspects):  in this countries used to be a good tertiary sector support by the state such as an advanced healthcare system, an obligatory education and other public services ( police, firefighters…). This countries have reached a high level of social development in healthcare, education, safety and right through. Finally, they have stable democratic system, which allow active and rewarding citizen participation.
